Press the Windows key + X and select settings,Navigate the system in the left sidebar in the settings, click on Troubleshoot and then click on other troubleshootersThis will display list of available troubleshooters, scroll down and click on the run option next to the printer.
Clear Print Spooler cache

Before cleaning the Print Spooler cache, you need to stop the Print Spooler service first. Delete the print spooler files manually and restart the service.

Fixing Print Spooler Using Command Prompt
If the above methods didn’t help you fix the issue that you were facing, then you should try using the Command prompt to fix it. Note – This method is the same as the previous method, Instead of the Services app, you will be using the command prompt here to fix the issue.
Press Windows key + S and type cmd, right-click on the command prompt select run as administrator,Now in the command prompt, type the following commands, and execute themnet stop spoolerdel /Q /F /S “%systemroot%\System32\Spool\Printers*.*”net start spooler
Once done, you should now no longer face the issue.
Update the printer drivers
Again Outdated device drivers are a very common cause of all kinds of hardware problems. Try updating your printer driver to see if that helps resolve the error.
Press Windows key + R, type devmgmt.msc and click ok to open the device manager,expand the Print queues section, Right-click on your printer and select Update driver.Next, select Search automatically for drivers, Windows will scan for a new driver update and download and install it if available.
Note: If no new updates are available, use your printer manufacturer’s website to download the latest driver for your printer model. Again If you’re using an old printer that requires an equally old program or drivers to work, try running the associated app and drivers in Windows Compatibility Mode.
Reinstall The Printer
