Among the products on display will be the Meta Quest game, Portal video calling, and Ray-Ban Stories. There will also be a Quest 2 display that users can test hardware on VR games like Real VR Fishing, GOLF+, Supernatural, and Beat Saber. The Quest 2 demo area of the Meta Store will be immersive with a wall-to-wall curved LED display. Meta says this will replicate using a VR headset on a larger scale. Martin Gilliard, Head of Meta Store, said: “The Meta Store is going to help people make that connection to how our products can be the gateway to the metaverse in the future. We’re not selling the metaverse in our store, but hopefully people will come in and walk out knowing a little bit more about how our products will help connect them to it.” Basically, Meta wants to highlight how the development of metaverse technology is at the moment. However, the store will also provide insights into the future and what users can expect in the coming years. From May 9, the store will be open Monday to Friday from 11AM to 6PM PT. Meta, like many tech giants, has its headquarters in California´s Silicon Valley. The sunshine state is known for its startup-friendly culture which had been key in attracting business founders who usually make their first steps with a California LLC.
